About Nick Ronnenberg
Nick Ronnenberg is an Army veteran and Albert Lea resident running for the Minnesota House. He served for more than two decades between active duty and the Army Reserve, including deployments overseas. Nick has worked in banking, corrections, and county government, and he’s running to bring common sense to Saint Paul: stop the waste, protect taxpayers, back law enforcement, and stand up for
rural Minnesota.

Nick Ronnenberg's Priorities
Stop the Waste. Stop the Fraud. Respect Taxpayers
Minnesota went from a surplus to a deficit, and taxpayers are the ones paying for it. Nick wants a hard line on fraud and waste: real oversight, real accountability, and real consequences. The state shouldn’t be dumping its mess onto counties and homeowners.
Taxes & Cost of Living
Minnesotans want to be able to afford their mortgage, groceries, and property taxes without feeling like they’re getting squeezed from every direction. Nick supports limiting spending and keeping taxes under control so families can breathe again.
Back the Blue
Nick supports law enforcement and first responders. He’s worked in the justice system and has seen public safety enforcement up close. He believes state and local leaders should support officers, not tie their hands, and Minnesota should work together with federal law enforcement officers.
Second Amendment
Nick is a hunter, a gun owner, and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. He doesn’t believe you punish law-abiding citizens because criminals break the law. He’ll oppose attempts to restrict the rights of responsible gun owners.
Faith, Family, and Life
Nick is a Christian and he doesn’t hide it. He’s running because he believes Minnesota needs leaders with a backbone and a moral compass. He’s pro-life and believes families should have more say in their lives than the government does.
Protecting Kids & Fairness in Girls’ Sports
Nick supports keeping girls’ sports for girls. Minnesota doesn’t need to pretend biology doesn’t exist. Kids deserve fairness and common sense, and parents are tired of being told to sit down and be quiet.
Education That Gets Results
Nick wants to see schools focused on reading, math, and real achievement — and respect for parents. He’s also a supporter of career and technical paths that lead to solid jobs without burying kids in debt.
Farmers, Ag, and Rural Minnesota
Nick is going to stand with farmers and push back on out-of-touch regulations that jack up costs and make it harder to farm. Rural Minnesota doesn’t need more rules from metro politicians. We need policies that let people work, grow, and pass farms down to the next generation.
